Training strategies to counteract super shoe effects
- Calf raises and eccentric heel drops to condition the Achilles and calf for the increased demand
- Maintain some training in lower-stack, more traditional shoes to preserve natural foot and ankle strength
- Gradual transition if switching from conventional trainers — increase super shoe mileage over weeks, not days
